This Sunday hull United women’s development faced North Ferriby away. The ladies were looking to continue their impressive start to the season.
The game started fairly evenly, but neither team managed to get a grip of the game. The midfield 3 of Workman, Pinder and Neal-Wright worked well to keep the Ferriby attacks at bay.
The break through came from the home side, when a freekick from the left found the back of the net.
HT 1-0
The visitors weren’t playing their best football and the message at half time was to calm down, work together and the goal would come.
United came out strong and it was less than 10 minutes after the break which saw Neal-Wrights volley hit the back of the net.
The back four worked tirelessly throughout the game To keep the opposition at bay but the Ferriby attacks kept coming.
Despite the changes made by manager Marsden, Ferriby continued to add to their tally with the final score of 5-1.
With a couple of unfortunate mistakes, and not the best day at the office, United will be looking to put that performance behind them as they face Pinefleet this Sunday.
