Reckitts AFC Reserves V Hull United Men's Development

Hull United Development vs Reckitts Res 1-1

Spoils shared in a battling display.

Hull United Development looked laboured in the warm-up, and they carried this into the first half. Some sloppy marking allowed the opposition striker to sneak into the 6 yard box for a tap in.

United did look better at defending corners and rode their luck in the first half to keep it at 1-0, and stay in the game.

After a rallying team talk, United came out the better team. Wave of attack resulted in foul after foul. Eventually, one of those free-kicks resulted in a goal. LB Bailey stepped and hit the target. The keeper managed, some how, to dive over the ball and United were back level.

The last 20 was all Hull. Driving runs from the midfield two (Dec and Owen) helped but the final ball always seemed to be missing. 1-1 was the final score. United get points on the board but, to be honest, it should have been 3!

MotM: Owen due to effort.
