Hull United Development 6 Vs 3 Club Atletico De Bransholme
After a few weeks without a game Hull United Development welcomed Club Athletico De Bransholme with both teams looking for a place in the Semi-Final.
It was United who started the quickest when Dawid Ostafin, when on 5minutes he smashed home a low drive down past the keeper in the bottom right hand corner, 1-0. Bransholme hit back on 13minutes when the Bransholme slid the ball past the United keeper, 1-1. United got their second of the game on the 27th minute, when a corner was headed out back out to Paul Goldie who whipped in a delicious cross only to be met by a big header from the United skipper, 2-1. Kane Morris got his first of the game on the 38th minute when he latched on to a poor back pass, rounding the keeper and slotting home from a tight angle, 3-1. Bransholme scored a cracker from distance which went in off the post on the 44th minute. HT 3-2
The second half was a battling perfromance from both teams and it was Bransholme who got back on level terms on 59minutes when their CM burst into the back finishing off the post 3-3. Que Jimmy “De Bruyne” Hall, The ball was laid to Jimmy from the right, on the 73rd minute, a Thunderbold of a shot from right to left over the keeper, hitting the bar, bouncing down onto the turf, bouncing back up into the top of the net, 4-3 United. A string of fine saves from keeper Johny Alsop keeping Bransholme at bay. United got their 5th goal on 85th minute, a counter attack started by David “Kante” Brooke, releasing the ball to the left to Junior Mussa B, cutting in from the left, a tasty shot only for the keeper to parring into the on rushing Kane Morris picking up his second of the game, 5-3. Hull put the game to bed when a deep free kick from The half way line from Paul Goldie, only for Kane Morris to guide the ball with a pin point header from the edge of the area. 6-3.
Hull United Development progress to the Semi Final, a hard fought game from both teams but a deserved victory. Man of the Match goes too Jonny Alsop, Jonny produced a string of top draw saves ensuring the victory for United
