Beverley Town Ladies 2 Hull United Development 4

Another slow start and poor first half performance saw Hull United Ladies Development Team losing 2-0 at half time to Beverley Ladies in today’s county cup game. Coaches Danielle Kendrick and Dave Blain asked the players to be honest with themselves at half time and accept responsibility for improving personal and team performances.

The players took this into the second half with a massively improved effort, exerting pressure and better passing around the pitch. Player of the game was awarded to Kira Blain for another committed effort in midfield, also scoring two goals. Nellie Rawson and Jamieleigh Neale-Wright completing the scoring to mark a memorable comeback.

The ladies face Beverley Town Ladies again next week in the League.
