Vitality Women's FA Cup: The ladies are looking to make it into the draw for the first proper round.

Wakefield Trinity Ladies FC V Hull United Women's First Team.

Its another away game this weekend as we travel over to Wakefield to play Wakefield Trinity Ladies FC in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, Wakefield currently play in the league above after gaining promotion from our current league last season. This has always been a good game between the two of us and I am sure Sunday will not disappoint. We caught up with Manager Lewis Poucher who had this to say

“This weekend marks a real test for the girls coming up against Wakefield, the girls have played the side before and I know over time they have had some good battles. We know we need to be at our best if we are to get anything from the game, the girls trained very well last night and are in good spirits. We have a full squad to pick from on Sunday which is great news for me and Mel but means we have some very difficult decisions to make. For me it’s a great opportunity for the girls to put a marker down against a team that are in a higher league and its one that me and Mel cannot wait for.”
