Hull United traveled to York which they knew would be a tough game. Both teams started off the game strong creating chances but United took the lead first with a strike from Jade Newlove. York equalised from a free kick and the first half ended 1-1. Second half was end to end with both teams continuing to create chances. Lauren Holmes played a ball through to Tonya Wild-Storr who chipped the keeper and United went into the lead 2-1. Wild-Storr scored her second of the game from a corner with a header into the top corner. Hull walked away with the win and the 3 points.
