Hull united have today successfully secured a six figure revenue grant from the football foundation which will see over £90,000 invested into the playing pitches at Haworth park.

Chairman John Duffill commented “ we are delighted to receive this award, when we looked at taking on Haworth the first priority was to improve the playing surfaces, been awarded this grant from the football foundation is massive for us to achieving this, over the next couple of months the hard work will go into getting the pitches ready for the new season.

We set out a three stage plan when we decided to take on Haworth. The focus now turns to Stage 2, grounds maintenance machinery, goals, ball stop nets etc, before we move in to stage 3 renovate the club house.
